First Friends

You’re a pre-schooler, and the world is bursting with newness. Each day is filled with one new discovery after another. Where did that bird come from? Look, the moon is shaped funny tonight! Who thought to color the butterfly like that?

First Friends is FUMC's Sunday School Ministry that provides engaging activities to introduce pre-school children (ages one to five) to God. Wonder is God’s fingerprint on our world. First Look helps children understand how they are part of that wonder.

Each month we focus on a different theme that reinforces one of our three basic truths that we want every preschooler to know:

God made me.

God loves me.

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

First Friends meets in the third classroom on the left-hand side of the preschool hall every Sunday during the school year (September through May.)

During the summer, preschoolers are invited to join our elementary age children for Godly Play in the Rock Room upstairs.
